Capturing a Milestone Forever
If you are a senior, your senior year means many things from excitement for the future to sadness for a chapter closing. If you are a parent, it is a bittersweet time full of emotions for this monumental year that has been twelve plus years in the making, a Milestone.
Senior pictures are so important because you get to capture your senior for who they are. That is why I am so passionate about Senior Photography, because I get to showcase these young individuals and all the wonderful things that make them unique. I love creating a customized experience with every senior, to really capture their personalities and who they are.
I send out a questionnaire to all of my seniors to get to know them better, so we can create their dream session. I want to know where they spend most of their time, or what they are passionate about. Are they in sports? All of these things can help us create a once in a lifetime senior picture session. They love Taco Bell great, me too, let's incorporate that into your session somehow! Maybe they spend an obsessive amount of time at Target, wonderful that is a possible location. The possibilities are endless, and I have countless ideas on fun unique ways to showcase your senior!
The number one thing I hear from parents of seniors is, "I can't believe I have a Senior!" As a parent myself, we often hear, "they grow up so fast" and boy is that true. It almost feels like in a blink of an eye our babies are turning into young adults and now graduating high school. The pictures we take capture our moments in time so we can reflect on them in the future. Which is why Senior Pictures are so important, we get to capture who your senior is right now, and be able to reflect on them forever.
It's been twelve years in the making to get up to this point, all their hard work, the late nights, the early mornings and the countless memories. Senior year is full of excitement, it's something not only the senior has worked so hard for, but their entire family as well. I know personally as a mom of an 11th grader, I have been just as invested in his schooling as he is. So of course, Senior Year is just as important for the parents as it is to the Senior. Pictures are no different, except the parents will cherish these pictures in a way that the senior never could.
Senior pictures are so important because these aren't just another school picture, they are thee school picture. Unless you are like grandma who has everyone's picture hanging up since birth, you usually see people's Senior Pictures, up for many years to come. Senior pictures are so important because we showcase how far your senior has come over the past twelve years while capturing their unique personality. We are capturing a milestone.
I am so passionate about Senior photography that I have even started a new Senior Rep Program. The great thing about the Senior Rep Program is that it starts in their Junior year and lasts a few months into their Senior Year. It allows the Senior rep to have multiple free photo shoots with me, with fun locations and exciting themes it's a great way for Seniors to make new friends, earn their own Senior Session for Free, gain confidence, and it's the funnest extracurricular activity!
